Franklin Meadows NJ | Water Damage Restoration | New Method Restoration

On March 20, 2023 New Method Restoration received a call regarding a pipe break in a finished basement.  The break affected a bathroom, laundry room, storage room, and den.

 
 
Project manager Keiron Brown was dispatched to the property first to conduct an initial inspection of the damages.  Keiron took photos, detailed notes, and presented the property owner with a clear scope of recommended work to be done.  Keiron also helped the owner file an insurance claim for the damages that resulted.
 
Our certified technicians were dispatched shortly after the inspection and began work in the affected areas.  In the bathroom they detached the vanity to gain access to all areas that had been affected by the pipe break.  Any standing water in the spaces was extracted.  All spaces were sanitized with an organic antimicrobial spray to ensure no future mold growth would take place.  Several dehumidifiers, fans, and other specialty drying equipment were placed throughout the basement to ensure quick, proper drying.

On December 26, 2022 New Method Restoration received a call for a frozen pipe burst in the ceiling of a commercial property.  As a result of the burst pipe, there were damages throughout the entire location to all walls and flooring.

Our certified technicians arrived onsite quickly to begin their work.  They moved any content throughout the entire location necessary to extract the standing water and removed any affected materials. 
 
 
Once they were able to clear the water and debris from the spaces, an organic antimicrobial spray was used throughout to ensure everything was sanitized properly and no future mold growth would take place.

Shortly after, our certified professionals arrived onsite and began work to remediate the damage caused by the leaking roof.  Prior to beginning any work, containment was set up and secured to ensure there was little contamination to other areas of the home.  They then removed the entire drywall ceiling as well as any insulation in the space which had been damaged.  After all affected materials were removed and discarded, the entire area was sanitized using an organic antimicrobial spray to prevent any possible future mold growth.

Shortly after the inspection our skilled technicians were dispatched and began work in the laundry room where they extracted any standing sewage, steam cleaned the area, and disinfected thoroughly using an organic antimicrobial spray. 

In the bathroom they did 2 foot flood cuts and removed the affected sheetrock prior to sanitizing the entire space with the antimicrobial spray.  Vinyl floor tile was removed from the bedroom before the floor beneath was steam cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
