Water Valve Leak under a Kitchen Sink

On March 29, 2022 New Method Restoration responded to a water valve leak under a kitchen sink which affected the living room, garage, and crawl space.

Project manager Armand Pallino arrived onsite within 90 minutes to assess the damages and provided the homeowner with a clear, detailed scope of work.  He also assisted the homeowner with filing and managing an insurance claim with her provider.

Our certified technicians were dispatched and got to work extracting the standing water prior to removing carpet and padding, sheetrock, insulation, and linoleum flooring.  Once all affected materials were removed and the areas were disinfected with an antimicrobial spray, several fans and dehumidifiers were placed throughout, along with other specialty drying equipment.
